Although not necessarily fun to swim in, the Great Salt Lake makes for great beach pictures. Because of the harsh lighting cast off of the water during the middle of the day, the best times to use this location would be early morning and dusk. *

Riverwoods is "a city within a city." Buildings in this area have brightly colored and generously textured walls that provide vivid contrast for all types of pictures. A favorite spot for Graduation and Engagement Pictures. There are shops, trees and the Provo River all nearby.

I love the spot for staging pictures of sweet, little girls. The calm, cool tones seem to complement any and all skin tones. And the color goes with all your favorite "girly" outfits!

Blue-Green Warehouse wall
From BYU Campus- Drive South on 500 East till it ends. It will be right in front of you. This wall gives a rustic but happy feel to any picture. Great for kids and engagements. There is also an orange warehouse wall close by.
Nielsen's Grove Park
2000 S Sandhill Rd. Orem Utah
This park is gorgeous especially in the spring. They have a large tulip garden that blooms in April. There is a pond, playground, swings, benches and a water fountain.
Tahitian Noni Gardens
333 West River Park Drive, Provo, UT 84604
These are gorgeous gardens filled with flowers, trees, a stream and small waterfall. Season for this place is April-October.
Flowserve Pond/Park
1350 Mountain Springs Parkway South, Springville
This park is big and has a beautiful pond. It is a popular site for Bridals and Engagements.
American Fork Ampitheater 851 East 700 North, American Fork Stone walls, trees, steps- pretty look for bridals and engagements.   Provo Canyon/ Bridal Veil Falls/ Vivian Park Beautful mountain scenery, waterfalls, tons of trees- So pretty for any shoot.   Draper Park 1020 East 12400 South Draper UT Hilly landscaping produces great back lighting for shots at this park. There are also several wooden bridges and fences, a couple of creeks, a barn, and even an abandoned railroad track that can be used in photo shoots.  Cougar Park 4800 West 6200 South West Jordan UT Located in West Jordan, this park offers many great photo opportunities. With a wildlife preservation section that is fenced off, you are able to take beautiful "isolated location" pictures in the heart of the city. The park also offers a large field with carefully cared for grass and an elevated railroad track. Gardner Village 1100 West 7800 South West Jordan UT Literally a Village, this location has several cute stores and cobblestone streets. A creek that runs through the property sports several stone and wooden bridges in addition to a well maintained creek bank. There are also gazebos and benches scattered throughout. Gardner Village charges a $40 location fee, so be prepared to pay if you pick this location. Liberty Park 589 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City Liberty Park is to Salt Lake City what Central Park is to New York City. It is the second largest public park in Utah and it is beautiful!  LDS Church Yale Ave, SLC Really pretty grounds on this church. There are very strict rules about when you can and cannot photograph there. Yellow Colored Wall 900 S State Street, Salt Lake City This wall makes a bright, happy statement! All sides of the building are yellow, so you can go day or night and lighting will work to your favor. Plus, you will discover many different textures to play with. Multicolor wall and white wall is just around the corner. All with great textures! So Fun! International Peace Gardens 1000 South 900 West Salt Lake City UT The International Peace Gardens is located at the back of a park as it's own separate garden. Many countries are represented with displays, and there is a small replica Eiffel Tower as well as pagodas and little cottages. There are many trees that sometimes interfere with noon light, so early mornings and evenings are the best.
Olive Green colored wall
160 South 5th West, Salt Lake City Right behind the gateway is where this beauty is hidden. It offers several different tones of green from sage to olive you will be happy with this choice. There are great levels and garage doors for some sitting options. Memory Grove 370 North Canyon Road Salt Lake City UT Memory Grove is the quintessential bridal photography location. It has a wide variety of places to shoot. The park itself has columns, stone steps and a bridge. The lawn and flowers are well kept and there is also a pretty river and a small pond. Hike a little further North and you can use the wooded areas for more natural scenery. This is a popular place for family portraits as well. Murray Park State Street and 5109 South (Murray Park Ln) Murray UT
Situated just across from the new
hospital in Murray, this park offers bridges, gazebos, and a creek for
fun picture taking. It's best to avoid this park on the weekends
because it's a Utah favorite and tends to get a little crowded.
Taylorsville Park 5400 S 1200 W. Taylorsville UT Taylorsville Park has well maintained grounds that are very easy to navigate. It boasts a fishing pond as well as a fishing dock.
